Organizational Change Consulting
At the most comprehensive level, we work
with your leaders to steward your organization’s diversity
initiative to establish long-term commitment to organizational
culture change, with the goal of achieving measurable progress
toward predetermined objectives. Services include:
- Conducting comprehensive organizational assessments
to identify strengths, opportunities for improvement, and
key issues to address
- Helping your leaders and diversity team determine the
strategic direction, vision, and your organization’s
unique business case for diversity
- Conducting board and executive development
group sessions and one-on-one meetings to fully engage both
the heads and the hearts of these essential champions for
diversity
- Modifying organizational infrastructures
(hiring, promotions, performance management, communications,
marketing, product development, etc.) to be truly inclusive
of all people
- Establishing mentoring and reverse mentoring
programs for employees at all levels
Training
At the interpersonal level, we work with
executives and employees at all levels to build their sensitivity,
awareness and cultural competence skills and become effective
diversity champions capable of sustaining change. Workshops
can be generic or customized, in the following areas:
- Developing cultural competence enables
employees at all levels to develop the knowledge,awareness
and skills to be culturally competent as individuals and
to create teams and workplaces that value diversity and
are truly inclusive
- Leading diversity focuses on skills
specific to people who have responsibility for managing
others, in understanding the unique role they play in being
a role model for others and creating infrastructures that
are inclusive
- Championing a diversity initiative is
designed specifically for diversity team members, employee
resource group leaders, and other people who are responsible
for stewarding your organization’s diversity initiative.
It teaches people how to become a champion, and use the
Diversity Mosaic process within your organization
Strategic Team Development
We can also either lead or facilitate your
diversity teams, and councils:
- Diversity team development includes
helping you select, launch, and establish your internal
diversity team or council
- We can help you structure and fully engage your employee
resource groups to be positive, productive and
collaborative, providing a wealth of resources for your
diversity-related mentoring programs and product development
efforts
- We also provide shadow consulting to
diversity change agents, supporting their success and ongoing
development in their role
Coaching
At the individual level, we provide 360
degree feedback and coaching:
- To executives, board managers, and middle managers
in sensitive situations, helping them to overcome
obstacles and accelerate their performance in achieving
individual and organizational diversity and inclusion goals
- To diversity change agents and champions
in helping them implement systemic change while learning
advanced skills
